Yes. There's no requirement for directors or shareholders to be UK residents. You will still need a UK registered office address, which we can provide.

What happens if I miss a filing deadline?

Companies House may begin strike-off proceedings for late Confirmation Statements. Late accounts filings incur automatic penalties starting at £150, rising to £1,500 for delays over 6 months.

What's the difference between strike off and dissolution?

Strike off is the voluntary process of removing a company from the register. Dissolution is the legal outcome — once struck off, the company is dissolved. The terms are often used interchangeably, but strike off is the action and dissolution is the result.

Can I register for VAT voluntarily?

Yes. Voluntary registration can be beneficial if you sell to VAT-registered businesses, as it allows you to reclaim VAT on purchases. There's no minimum turnover requirement.

VAT registration typically takes 5–10 working days. PAYE and CIS registrations are usually processed within 5 working days. Self Assessment UTR numbers can take up to 10 working days to arrive by post.

No. We don't charge rush fees. Every filing is submitted the same day you complete it, and we use electronic submission for the fastest possible processing.

Can I get a refund?

Payment is taken when you place your order. Once your filing has been submitted to Companies House or HMRC it can't be cancelled, and fees — including government fees — are non-refundable. If a filing is rejected because of an error on our part, we'll correct and resubmit it at no extra cost. If something has gone wrong, contact support@efilings.uk and we'll put it right.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 working hours during business hours. Complex queries may take up to 1 working day. Emails received outside business hours are answered the next working day.

We don't offer phone support. Email allows us to give every query proper attention, include document references, and maintain a clear record. Most queries are resolved in a single email exchange.
